Some while ago, we had what we thought was the great idea of twinning with like-minded websites.

Inspired by towns twinning with one another, spreading international peace, love and understanding, we eagerly embarked on a quest for comparable websites with which we could engage.

We could share ideas, increase visitor numbers to both sites and come up with an ace sign to celebrate the relationship. We could even twin with more than one website!

So we spent hours and hours, searching "websites", "history", "recipes" and "ideas" for:

Bagels

Burgers

Baguettes

Wraps

Paninis

Subs

Toasties

Tacos

Sandwiches

Muffins

Hotdogs

Even pretzels

Sadly, we were disappointed to find that while there are some specialist websites out there, almost all have a commercial purpose, whether selling things on the website, or funded by organisations to promote specific foodstuffs. While we obviously have nothing against commerce, these sites didn't feel like twins.

So we'll keep searching, but if anyone has any suggestions in the meantime, please do let us know!
